How can a gas cap...

Default How can a gas cap...

cause the SES light to com eon? At times mine comes on after a gas up and then it will turn off later.

The fuel tank gets pressurized when the engine is running. You may need a new gas cap.

Makes sense... I have a couple old caps I've interchanged, but I'll go new! Hear that? I'm getting a new gas cap! Get the women and children off the street! NEW GAS CAP!

Sometimes all it takes is screwing the gas cap on till oyu hear the clicks 3-4 times. I make mine click in one full circle.
