Default hypertach performance chip and k&n air filter

ok so im lookin at buying a hypertech performance chip and a k&n air filter im also open to looking into a superchip but anyways i was just wondering what you guys would have to say about it r they worth it and will i notice power increases i know the air filter wont be a big performer but there great filters....as for the chip has anyone actually noticed a power increase or improved gas mileage J/w what u guys thought. also how much performance would i gain from a flowmaster muffler and would it sound nice.. i like the idea of the chip to because then once i get my rims i could recalibrate my speedo just some thoughs though tell me what u think of this

The filter is a must. I noticed more of difference than I thought I would get when I got one. The acceleration is much smoother, plus you only have to clean them like every 100 thousand miles or something like that. They increase the mpg by a pinch too so in time it will actually pay for itself, it will just take a long time.

Hypertech programmers are really good and worth every cent but do I what I did and get one off ebay. Just make sure the programmer was reset to its factory setting and get it from a good seller. Go to truckperformance.com and find the one you need and search hypertech and whatever part# you want. I love my Hypertech it even reads codes. Goodluck.
