Could it be your back hatch? Mine squeaks. Is your spare tire mounted inside? Mine is, and THAT also squeaks.

Mine does that, too, though I can only hear it with the window down, unless I push on the rear bumper..... I thought it was the leaf springs or their bushings. Then two shops checked it out and said it was one of the rear shocks. This didn't sound likely to me, but the second shop disconnected the shock temporarily and the noise went away. This shock only has about 4.000 miles on it. They said it was OK, working properly, just a little noisy, and I could either replace it or drive it that way. They put some chassis grease on the shock bushings, which may have helped some, but I won't really know until I start driving with the window open again or remember to try pushing on the bumper.

My back hatch squeaks, too, like Moonwater's, but that is a lot louder and more constant, and I consider it a separate problem. I've tried lubricating the weatherstripping with silicone spray and it hasn't worked. I can see a couple places where the rubber is worn down, in the two upper corners, and I'm going to try building up those spots with thick silicone from a tube, once the weather gets drier and warmer.

I had a loud squeeeeeek coming from the back area. It turned out to be a vent tube trapped between the break line and the frame in the passenger side rear wheel well. It was more of a metalic sound of course.
