Lift gate lock stopped working button on dash don't work button on tailgate nothin works. Opened up manually took off panel on tailgate and checked out actuator seemed fine checked relay in glovebox (don't think it could be that it works different things). Assumed actuator was bad but noticed power door lock button on drivers side wont work Checked fuses was good. I am assuming the two problems are connected but am stumped where to go next. Hope someone can help

 

On the 97 Blazers, The Cigarette lighter fuse controls the power locks....

 

And alot of other things.That still work.

Does that mean that the problem was a fuse and you fixed it?

 

No it isn't fixed it is not a fuse.They are all good.

 

when you hit the button do you hear the actuator? i had to replace mine cause it is just a plastic piece that connects to the latch to unlock it my blazer is an 03 but i think the setup in the gate is the same not really sure
