oil change 94' Blazer - Tips Pls!
Yea, that is a crappy location for the oil filter.
I recommend you drain the pan before oyu change the filter. No sense laying in the oil your going to spill from the filter to drain the pan. I highly recommend draining the pan, torque till snug, then turn 1/4 turn more.
Make sure the old rubber oil filter gasket comes off with the old oil filter, if you leave it on, you will blow your engine.
