has anybody had problems with the throttle position sensor?? I'm having fits
with mine... '99 Blazer 4.3

I had to replace mine this spring on the '00.

What kind of problems are you having? You can check the tp sensor with a digital voltmeter.

Here's a pretty basic check. I usually use a pin to pierce the wires and clip the voltmeter to the pins.

Observe the TP sensor while depressing the accelerator pedal with the ignition turned ON leaving the engine OFF. The display should vary from about 0.5 volts (500 mV) when the throttle was closed to over 4.5 volts (4500 mV) when the throttle is held at WOT position
