Default Will the hitch fit?

I have a friend who is willing to sell me an almost brand new towing hitch off a 1999 dodge ram 250 for $50. My only problem is: Will the hitch fit on my 1996 Blazer 2WD? I don't want to weld it on. But $50 is a pretty good price. I am going to look at the hitch in a week, but I wonder if it is worth looking at, because, if it won't fit I don't want it.

Find out what brand it is, go to their website, enter your vehicle info, make, model, year ect. Find the part # and write it down. Enter his vehicle info. If the part #'s match......

Default RE: Will the hitch fit?

I HIGHLY doubt that it'll fit. Just remembering what the frame rail spread on my old ram was and comparing it to my Bravada... Not a chance. Just for reference, my Ram had much larger tires than my bravada and it still had 2+ inches on either side of the spare tire underneith. My Bravada with the smaller tires has less than 2" of clearance to the rails.
