Default Catalytic Converter/Muffler question

I have a 1986 K5 Blazer 4x4 and was wondering how much should it cost for me to get a new catalytic converter and muffler installed?

Depends on what you install for a muffler and who does the work. I have a shop close by that will do both for less than $150, but that is for a budget muffler and a universal cat. It also depends on how good the rest of the piping is in your system.

Get some quotes from shops that have their own pipe bender. It often will be better pipe and a better fit than those shops that buy pre-bent systems and want to replace everything.
