I have a 1992 K-1500 full size blazer 2 door with a 350. I bought the truck a few months back and I noticed it was the only one I have ever seen with dual exit pipes. The origional exaust manafolds, origional Y-pipe, origional cat are still intact. However, from the cat back is another y-pipe going into two magnaflow mufflers to dual opposite side exiting tail pipes. All the hangers look in place like there was meant to be a dual system. Never the less, the syetem is looking a bit ratty and I think I may have to replace it soon, the only cat back systemes I see for the truck are single exit ones. Did any of teh yukon GT's come with a dual exiting system? I contacted Magnaflow to see if they used to offer this systen a while ago and stopped making it as I cant find it in any of thir current catalogs but they did not have an answer for me. Does anyone know where to find a dual cat back like the one I describe? I see dynomax has one for a decent price but its only a single exit.....

You will have to get it done aftermarket at an exhaust shop. I also will have a 1994 with a 350 (as of Saturday) and only have found single exit on the internet; Gibson, Magnoflow, and Dynomax. I owned one previous 1994 and had a cat back with Turbo-flows and dual exit. I can't wait to do this to the new one; I miss the sound.

 

thanks for the info, i origionally thought it was fabricated by a muffler shop, but when i looked closer at the system it struck me as wierd that the hanger supports are on both sides of the undercarrage, looks factory, not to mention the Y-pipe coming out of the cats to the mufflers, welded perfict, like it was made specificaly for that application and not welded up in a muffler shop while bending it under the truck. Im sure there was at one time some dual system available, i just cant find it, looks like im going single or spending mucho $$ on a custom.

 

custom aint really that much i had mine done for 180 for dual stright pipes but had to go back to a single caue of clearnce issue while offroading

just found this 2 seconds ago....this is what i have on my truck. i have the duel strait. they come out right on both sides of the tow hitch and look sick. im looking into doing longtube headers w/ trueduel if it will fit tho.
