Exhaust straight pipe
well my problem was getting the muffler clamps to seal everything fully. i was going to just use high temp muffler tape to fill the holes around the clamp, but it wouldn't pass inspection with the tape.. it wouldn't get a clean crimp. instead of keep messin around with it and keep trying new things i decided to just drop $400 and have it all done for me. well worth it.
here are some pics of mine, i'll try and get a better one for ya. but i would just save up and do it right the first time. not to sound harsh, its just more logical IMHO.

with just a turn down under the vehicle you run the risk of gasing yourself with carbon monoxide
carbon monoxide will get in the smallest of holes and a moving car can create a vaccum of sorts
its best/ safest to stick with the stock configeration but change out the muffler if your looking for noise

You could just have an exhaust shop remove the muffler and weld in straight pipe. Had that done on my '73 a few years back for about $25. No worries about CO poisoning, and with the exhaust all the way out the back, there wasn't much drone inside the car. It sounds pretty good, I think, but a 350 will sound better than a V-6.
i shouldn't get Carbon Monxide poisoning the vehicle is moving so the wind will push it out the back. i am worried about it though, im trying to get it fixed quick just gotta find a welder.
When you find a welder or welding machine even better yet let me know where to look cause I need one also but I cant afford to buy one.Yes you still run the risk of c02 poisoning with a turndown.Maybe not while driving but if your sitting still at a stop light or inside warming up your vehicle.Be smart dont take chances with your life.Take to advice of having a straight pipe welded all the way back.

it doesn't even have a turn down it running straight out of the flange. But i can get a welder here is Canada and princess auto for $100 its good for around the house stuff but nothing big. just put over a grand into my blazer so i cant afford it right now.
My blazer had the cat hallowed out n it was just fine then the guy I got it from straight piped it and took the muffler out n everything welded o2 sensors in pipe I ran the codes and I got 8 that lead me to believe it's the o2 sensors messing up and causes car to run lean conditions so I got a new cat n muffler I was wondering if I could just cut n weld the cat n muffler back in straight pipe n plug 02 sensors back in n get away with it ???
