I just picked up a 02' Blazer and its all basic cable stock right now. I want to up the HP and torque to haul a boat.

Does anyone know what the best full exhaust system to get for HP and that deep throaty sound? (do they make dual exhaust?)

And as well does anyone know the best cold air intake system to get to increase performance all around in general?

And as well any low costs parts that help oout with HP and torgue or even gas mileage tips or anything let me know.

Please reply and paste some links or anything would help.

8mm spark plug wires.
higher heat value spark plugs.
low resistance ignition coil.
AEM, K&N, or Spectre intake.
I would say something like a flowmaster 44 for the exhaust if you want a throaty sound.
shorty headers will also do the trick if your looking to spend a little more.

Thanks Man, definitly going to replace the wires and spark plugs because there is a random misfire detected somewhere.

 

The Dynomax Super Turbo catback is a good option for more power, but unless you're flooring it, you won't hear it much with the stock cat, turbo mufflers are very quiet.

 

I would go for the distributor cap and rotor too. I just had to replace the intake manifold gasket due to a coolant leak and my cap and rotor were terrible. That could be a part of the random misfire. Also, a dynomax super turbo cat back exhaust system is relatively inexpensive and sounds good on my Blazer.

Scroll down to the dynomax system. The only trouble I had with the install were 3 rusty bolts which had to be grinded off. Other than that? Piece of cake!
