i am planning on replacing the muffler, and the pipe from muffler back. as far as the tip did you just buy one of the clamp ons or did you have one welded on?
My tip is welded on. high gauge stainless steel angle cut APC tip
ok so for the dynomax kit i am looking at, would you say to just add a tip to the end if it or should i trimm it back a couple inches and put a tip on? (i will be welding the tip regardless) and i am still wondering if this kit is something i can do myself.

The kit is a direct bolt on so anyone with a socket and wrench can do it. I'm waiting on mine still to ship from Summit racing. As for the tip, I'd cut it back a few inches so it doesn't stick out like a honda civic with a coffee can. Why do you need the tip or is this just a looks thing?

Yes the exhaust is 2.5 all the way back to the end. Someone asked earlier.
