Default I Iound Cheap Headers

-I'm thinking of putting headers on my 1988 lifted blazer this summer. I was wondering if anyone is running these?

Chevrolet S10 Blazer Hedman Standard Duty Headers - 1988-1993 Chevrolet S10 Blazer - Hedman H5669410

-They're pretty cheap. Cheapest that i've found for a 4.3. Has anyone found any headers for a 4.3L that are cheaper?

I was thinking headers to a high flow cat to a 2.5 single-in 2.5 duel-out 40 series or super 44 Flowmaster muffler and tail pipes straight out the back.

-Whats louder 40 series or super 44?

40 series is louder, ive tried both.

You want only longtube headers? ebay has some shorty headers for like 150.00

Beware of cheap headers! They'll increase under hood temps, burn out faster & may not fit properly/easily.

They arent the best. but should work. You need some headerwrap to help keep engine bay temps down. which is like $40-50.00 to put that in your budget.

Ive always been told longtube headers are better for low end torque, shorties for top end. Not sure if its true or not since i dont own any.
