i seen a ported throttle body on ebay saying more HP does anyone know if it will mess with the computer and will i gain much HP with it a have a 99 blazer 4.3 with a throttle body spacer headers going in soon and also looking at the hypertech programmer i basically want to do everything possable to gain every extra HP hiding in the engine!!

More air entering the engine!!! Yes you will need a custom tune. Pcm4less is who i used, big diffrence than the plug n play bs thats out there.

 

so would you sujest getting the proted throttle body then going to that place to get the computer re done instead of spending 250-300 on a plug in programmer?

 

You can do that yourself if you want, but read up on it. I have done this mod myself and had issues with my engine as a direct result. Search for "throttle+body+deflector" with an author of "swartlkk" and you should find my feedback.
