we kinda seem to be straying from the OP.

from GM, yes, but not from the Mopar clan.

and neo is right, unless you're really moving the exhaust gases, true duals are a waste.

also take into consideration the length of the exhaust system. sometimes have a shorter exhaust system can actually hurt the performance of the engine.

True duals wouldn't be tough, lots of guys do it on the fullsize trucks, in fact the 96-98 Vortec 350 trucks and the 2500HD and 3500's had true duals from the factory. They just have the driver's side pipe cross to the passenger side and run both pipes next to each other and split after the axle.

There isn't any benefit over it versus a single exhaust catback, but on fullsize trucks I understand since you get a different sound with true duals and a true dual V8 just sounds awesome if setup right.

if you are skilled in pipe building and make custom brackets it is very possible. did I mention a lot of pipe bending? You can get a dual outlet and single inlet catback for an "s10" as long as you find a place for your spare tire honestly I got annoyed with the aftermarket exhaust after 2 years of it. I just put the stock muffler back on the ride is much more peaceful haha
