thanks Rottidog, i welded the outside first... it was a really old welder, it wasn't working properly. haha im only 16 so i think that's some pretty good welding :P ill probably be painting them black... they should be strong enough, Ive seen the the shackles that autozone sells and there isn't any bracing all it is 2 pieces of metal, it is kind of funny. i will have them installed pretty quick here

 

Looks good saves a bunch of money over buying a set, and they are much stronger then those cheap universal ones people keep recommending.
