Exclamation 90 k5 lift questions

i am gonna get a 4 inch skyjacker kit ..and it comes with leafs for the front and blocks for the back and it has all the hardware such as ubolts and bushings.......and 2 shocks ......besides the 2 other shocks is there andthing else i need like extended brake lines or anything steering?


if u have info and kan help then thanks..if not then thanks n e ways

Skyjacker makes a good quality product. If you should need brake line extensions, skyjacker will include them with a NIB lift kit from the factory. Mainly because if they are needed and not provided, it is a huge liability issue and they don't want sued because someone used their kit and ran off a high wall because their brake lines were too short and came loose.

I would stay away from lift blocks in the back if you can at all help it. I have never liked blocks. A shackle flip will pretty much get you the 4" in the back to match 4" springs in the front.

You may want to rebuild the front steering at the same time. That added lift and, assuming, larger tires is going to exaggerate any play in the steering.

yeah it should have came with some kinda lift steering arm with that much lift. though it is possible to use your exsisting arm your steering is going to really suck and under any kinda flex you will probably max it out and break a tie rod end.
