Default 98 on 73-87 SAS suspension?

Hello everyone....
I have a 98 S10 4x4, I do not like the IFS lift kits and I do want to take this bad boy MUDDING not that rock crawlling crud. I have read about the SAS kits linked from other topics. My question here is those kits are just made up of the 1973-1987 K10 front ends. If I happen to come across a K10 in that year frame would I be able to just use that on me blazer?

Ord (off road design) makes a kit to do just that, only problem you have is you will have to swap the trcase for the fullsize one. Most guys use the jeep axles with he driver diff so they won't have to swap t cases.

i think most those kits are made for the k10 front springs then you can just bolt whatever the heck you feel like.

thats basically how i did my lift. i used to offroad k5 blazers and suburbans for years so i just built it with extra crap i had laying around off those trucks. but you will need the spring hangers unless you want to make your own

Ok that is what I was affraid of on using, I dont want to use the T case from the full size. So all I would need is the SAS kit(leafs and hangers) A jeep wrangler front axle and some time?
