SO... after using the search button and spending 30-40 minutes scouring the forum along with some googling research.... 2nd Gen Axle swaps...
They look relatively easy given the experience and equipment yet....
I find no kit.... I find some "parts" but idk...
I also have reservations because of the number of options for axles and then it gets multiplied when you factor in Coil overs versus the leafsss....
Now... Would someone care to give me the rundown on this kinda setup
Relatively cheap.
Streetable.
37" tires are probably the biggest.
Keep Abs. (this limits the axles to dana 30s?)(optional)
Axle width is no big deal(or issue) as long as the tires are not "next" to the blazer.
Also looking at the options is the 6in superlift worthy because similarly you can spend just a little extra and get like 10-14in of lift with springs?
I am just being a curious blazernut looking at ALL options for lifting my blazer as compared to buying a lifted blazer as a second vehicle....
Thanks

Go to this site and ask the guys there who have done solid axle swaps. Not saying nobody here could answer this, but it's best to just go to the source where a majority of people have already done it. Also look into state laws regarding how far you wheels can stick out past your fenders, I know in NJ they can't stick out past 1", so SAS as a daily for me is out of the question. Plus I went with the superlift kit because I can have it done in a weekend.

Waggy D44's front and rear
Drop the ABS dream
Make your own spring hangers- If this is not within your means then get some from trailgear
Get on Pirate4x4 and search sas . Dont just look at s10s , look at everything. Its all basically the same thing.

axle swaps on these trucks are pretty easy. and cheep too. i cant remember my exact cost. but it only ran me like $1000 to get it driveable, though i did have alot of the stuff lying around. hardest part is the front spring hangers obviously. but once you got that figured out (theres hundreds of designs across the web) and you can weld you will have it done in no time
