Default Add a Leaf & RC Shackles

What size lift should I get in the rear with a 2" add a leaf and the Rough Country 2" lift kit shackles? Is it simple math and 4" in the rear?

Not quite. With a 2" taller shackle, you get half that length in lift. Reason being, you're only moving one frame mounting pivot point of the spring away from the frame. So a 2" longer shackle will net you about 1" lift.

So you're realistically looking at a total of 3 inch lift if you combine the two.

Ok so the Rough Country 2" lift only lifts the rear 1"?

If the holes are 4 inches farther apart than stock it will be 2 inch lift

I cant remember if I ever compared the 2 shackles. Ill have to measure the RC shackles.
The reason for all of this is I did the RC lift and had an alignment done and the shop adjusted the torsion bars to get a good alignment and not a even ride height with the rear. As it sits now the front ride height is higher than the rear and Im trying to get it to even out with add a leafs in the rear. My luck the add a leafs will raise the rear too high.

Rather have the rear an inch higher
