Axles for SAS??

i dont think youre going to have a lot of problems. im running 6inch k5 blazer up front
and like i said i had to just trim the stops on the front axle caues they barely binded at full drop. 36s might rub. im running 33s and have had them hit a few times under extreme flex, but if you dont mind trimming a bit you might be ok.
i eventually lowered my truck in the front by 2 inches to take some slack out of the front drivshaft and get a lower center of gravity. heres the truck when it had the full 6inch leaf springs under it.

i almost felt bad about making it a offroad truck, it looked so good i wanted to drive it

i have to agree, that looks great for a first gen! i for sure would be kicking myself in the head if i had to take that off the road, but then again its whatever, after all its a 4x4 not some mall crawler. but i got questions on springs, the k5s in the front, those are 47" springs correct? and my next question would be what should i do about the rear springs? i originally had plans to use new stock springs (311 a pair) plus short and long superlift AALs (137 for both pairs) and then some superlift shackles for the springs (81 a pair), as you can see thats over 500 bucks. my question is are there any other options for the back springs? im sure there are, that are probably also much cheaper but i cant seem to find anything on rear leafs on our trucks. i was only doing the stock springs in the back at first cause it was one less thing i had to deal with during the swap but at this point with all the welding and man hours involved in it i might as well find some springs with a higher spring rate to combat the top-heaviness of the lifted blazer and something tells me that the stock springs will be pretty soft compared to maybe k5 springs in the rear even with the AALs (or do i not know what im talking about?), im assuming all i would have to do would be to weld in new leaf spring perches on the backside of the rear springs and just connect the front of the spring to the stock leaf perch or am i very wrong again? or are their more options for stock size springs from other vehicles that have a higher spring rate? i really dont care what they are, as long as they work, and id rather have them be super stiff (obviously if im running ranchos up front) than have too much flex to them and be unstable as i dont really care for ride comfort, after all ive driven trucks my entire life, im use to the harsh ride at this point in my life, i mean the more i search the more i find everything else i need to know about axles, front leafs, SAS kits, SOA kits, transfer cases, but i havent found one forum thread anywhere that remotely touches on rear leafs for the s10/s15s
