Lifting 2001 2wd blazer?
Okay well how are you all doing? I'm new here. I'm posting this for a friend. He has a 2001 2dr blazer and me and him have been looking for a way to lift it for a long time our problem is that it's a 2 wheel drive. We only wanna lift it around 3 in for more ground clearance. What's the cheapest and best way to do this?
Thanks guys

The cheapest way is with a 2" body lift. I dont think anyone makes a 3" bl for a 98 and newer blazer. I have heard of people making a 3" bl for an older blazer work.

Since 2wd blazers have coils and spindles, you can get lift spindles and coils for the front end, or coil spacers. Then shackles for the back to match.
A body lift still is probably cheaper for the 2' (coil spacers are cheapest, but I dont think you can do 2-3' of spacers...), then maybe coil spacers or lift spindles to do the rest. Last I looked lift spindles were in the $300 range.

Yes I agree with WolfPack... it might cost more but fora 2WD lift spindles are the way to go. Bigger tires will also give you more ground clearance, but dont forget that with bigger tires you will need better shocks and your speedometer will read slower.

If you want to gain ground clearance you will need to invest in some bigger tires, the body lift just lifts the body off the frame.

There is a company named FabTech that makes S10 lift spindles. Thereare bound to be others as well.
