making add a leafs out of XJ leaf springs

Hey, my brother has a pair of stock XJ leaf spring sitting in his garage. Is it possible to take a part the XJ springs and add them to my ZR2 spring pack. You know sorta like a add a leaf?

i dont think that is a very good idea... at least I wouldnt try it.........
