Grillzy, I know exactly how you feel. i have the same set up, and I couldnt even clear the fenders. I have 4.5" backspacing, and the would hit at about 3/4 turn. I beat back the bottom lip of the fender, and they clear but they still slightly rub, and if i hit a bumb while turning, they rub hard. Im cutting about an inch out of the fender this weekend.
Could you post some pics of your fender well so I can see how you cut them?

Sorry I don't have a good picture of the cut without the plastic back on. The first pic is the second time I cut. I took out the 2 inner fender bolts and put a large stone inbehind the inner fender to hold it out to make room for the sawsall. Drivers side watch the emergency brake line when cutting. I cut high and deep enough to eliminate the lower inner fender bolt and about 5" tall and 1 1/2"- 1 3/4" deep at bottom. after cutting replaced the inner fender bolt and used a pry bar to gently and neatly bend inner fender against body. Then cut a triangle out of the plastic body part and replaced it. I could make the plastic look better with more time. Cut the max amount the first time its easier b/c there is some support left in the fender after cutting the first time the fender edge that is left is quite soft and flimsy. I clear under full stress and with wheel turned. Hope this helps. There is no point in lifting a truck and having the tires rub- enless you are a sissy city guy who's off roading consists of parking in a gravel parking lot.
