The cab mounts , where the nut thing is , that the body mount bolt threads into , that area is very thin . And the lift blocks ( cylinder ) don't have enough coverage on the bottom of the cab mount so they push through . It didn't take that long to happen either . But doing the lift was a piece of cake all the bolts came out and went in real good and I checked the torque on the bolts several times , so they were tight .

 

Dang, it's a little late for me. My body lift is already on. Its only been on for about 3 weeks though. Nobody has mentioned that besides you two guys. I would have to take off my pucks(aka blocks) right? I don't know if I want to get into all of that right now.

 

Thanks for the input. Although it may be strange and borderline ****, but I really am not the biggest fan of the body lifts. I am going to be putting a hitch on and had thought about a brush guard, and I realize the brush guard could be made to work fine (I think), but the gap from my rear bumper to the hitch would drive me insane...(as I said, borderline ****...)
