shackle help!!

Default shackle help!!

i bought 2 inch lift shackles for my zr2, will i have to crank the t-bar to level it out or will the rear end be higher if i dont?? i dont know what to do? also is cranking the tbar easy? do i need to buy anything to crank the tbar?

I don't have a zr2 but if you go up 2" in the back then you have to go up in the front too. cranking the bars is easy as marking the start point on the bolt and using a 18mm wrench, or your tire iron to turn it. There is a sticky post on how too with pics under lifting tech. Real easy to follow....

I wouldn't worry about whether you need to crank your tbars until after you install the shackles. My guess is you've got the ever present saggy *** syndrome going on already with your ZR2.

When I installed my 2" shackles it brought the rear end up to just about what it was when new. There was a slight bit of rake to it but looked good. I didn't crank my tbars until the body lift and 33's.

yea i got the sagging rear end thats why i got them
