Since no one makes a 3" for the 2nd Gen I went with the 1st Gen and apparently the 2nd gen has 2 more mounting locations! I didn’t realize it until I was finishing it so I left the ones over the rear axle area out until Summit sent out two more. It looked weird when you looked at it from the side - there was absolutely nothing between the body and frame and you could see strait through. And thanks - I bought it 3 years ago with a blown motor and finall got to it a few months ago.

I really don't feel comfortable cranking my torsion bars. I had this concept of adding shackles, but then added more spacers in the front to make up for the height difference (example: 4 spacers in the front, 2 spacers and shackles in the back). Would that work? I apologize for such a stupid question

Nobody makes a proper suspension lift for S series Blazer/ Pickups? Huh...I thought they would with a following that it has.

Rough country makes a small one.

And no, there are no 'spacers' you can add to give you lift for the front or rear in the stock configuration.
