Why will this lift not work.. I talked to rough country today and they were very rude..

[Rusty] Can I help you?
[Visitor] Hey! i am wondering why your lifts for blazer and jimmys do not go up to 2005 but stop at 2003
[Rusty] cause that is the last year our kit will work on
[Visitor] but nothing changes the last two years? will this kit work on a 2005?
[Rusty] NO NO
[Visitor] i recomend rough country does their research.. very dissapoint
[Rusty] no you should do more research cause then you would know the suspension is diff from 03 to 05

Is there actually a difference between the those years? .. i rly just want the upper control arms for the better angles and possible get a better suspension lift down the road.....

its the same.

seriously just torque your t-bar bolts and buy shackles off ebay your blazer is the same as the models from 1998 to 2004...its all the same.

hope it helps, i bought the rough country lift, and i wish i saved a couple bucks, cuz the lift kit isn't worth it.

Hi Rob, me too I’m looking for this kit for my blazer 2005. I find out the only different parts in suspension are this one:

Torsion bar, s-series, right, blazer/sonoma/s10 - 4wd - 4WD year 04-05

Bushings, blazer, jimmy, w/o chassis pkg. - 4wd - 4WD year 04-05 (For the lower control arm)

Stabilizer bar, blazer, jimmy, w/o high wider pkg. - 4wd - 4WD year 04-05

Lower control arm, s-series, right, w/o high wider pkg, blazer/sonoma/s10 - 4wd - 4WD year 03-05

Just let me know if you go for it.
