My zr2 1999 fits the cooper discovery stt with no rubbing its close though. Even if it flex up into the wheel well. And blaze what roof rack do you have I like it.

Blaz, no disrespect at all. I agree with everything you said, and the pictures you posted will probably help people a lot. It is very unlikely that anyone with a non-ZR2 will fit 31x10'5's with no rubbing and only do a t-bar lift and shackles/AAL. Most will end up rubbing in the exact locations you demonstrated in your pictures. I rubbed the frame and fender with 2 out of 3 sets of 31's I ran with just a T-bar and AAL lift, and the 3rd was undersized I suspect. Once I did the body lift I had no rubbing at all on the fender, but I still rubbed the frame in the exact same spot as the picture you posted.

The key here is that you are driving a ZR2. The discussion has been about non-ZR2 trucks and tire sizes. 31x10.5 is the factory tire size on all ZR2's. The factory tire size on non-ZR2 s-series trucks is 235/70/15 which is about 28.5" tall. That almost 3" difference in tire diameter between a ZR2 and non-ZR2. The ZR2's also have bigger wheel wells and a differently shaped frame. All this allows the ZR2's to run bigger tires with less work.
