Mine has locked me out twice while I had it running and closed the door to go back in the house for a moment while the heater or air conditioner was running and when I came back out it was locked other than keeping a spare key or a key fob what can I do to stop it from locking the doors when it's runningI remove the fuse so it wouldn't happen again

 

Does it lock the moment the door hits the jam and strike plate or does it self lock later, after the door is closed?

Does it ever do this without opening and closing the door.?

Another question along with George's, is does your Blazer have an aftermarket keyless entry, alarm, or remote starter? Those all behave and are programmed differently from the factory keyless system.
