Default 2004 Daytime Running Light Disable

I searched and found some articles about disabling DRL's on Blazers but not on my particular year.

Just want to confirm that there is a simple way to disable the DRL on an '04 Blazer. By simple I mean pulling a fuse or cutting some wires. I read in one article that you can solder a resistor across the sensor junction in the door.

Any info appreciated.

You have to pull the DRL relay from the relay center under the hood and bend over the #86, i believe it is, pin to the side of the relay so it no longer makes a connection.
