96 blazer 4wd switch no lights
#2
I am finding a similar issue but more wide spread for my part, I thought it might have been related to the key switch but all output tested good on my end. If this is the only issue you are having tho your issue is probably not the same as mine. Have you checked and cleaned the harness to the 4wd control box, it should be mounted under dash somewhere above the right side of the steering wheel mount. I hope this helps you.

Could be a vacuum issue or something to do with the actuator. Check your vacuum lines to make sure there are no leaks.
I found that the climate control vent selector uses the vacuum so if you are unable to change the vent with your climate control that could indicate a vacuum issue that could be affecting your 4wd as well.
If you are unable to find an issue with the vacuum then I would move to the actuator and see if it's seized up. On my old Jimmy and my current blazer I've had to replace them.

well vac actuator under battery tray is good. someone said something about ATC fuse would make lights not work. if I knew where that was I would check it out. lights haven't worked since I have owned it and it is stuck in 4 lo since I have had it also. but would vac switch on the transfer case not make the lights work?
