Adding RKE from another car
My dad's 99' Suburban has the RKE module and an aftermarket alarm so he doesn't need it. If I were to remove that and plug it into mine, 97' Blazer, would it work just like that? Or would I have to get it programmed for the BCM? Could I just swap BCMs without having to take it to the dealer? Thanks. I searched and read some where you had to get it programmed and others that didn't.
