Auxillary Brake/Turn signals

Auxillary Brake/Turn signals
I would like to mount 2 high mount brake lights under my bumper to act as extra brake lights and turn signal. I know that I saw someone do this in a build thread but I can't for the life of me find it.
My main question I have is how to wire it. They aren't dual filiment so I know they cant be lights and brake lights. Can I just wire them to both the turn signal circuit and the brake light circuit? Or is there a better way to do it?
Thank you in advance

You can't really wire it to both without some kind of diodes to make sure the voltage isn't fed backwards through your circuit. You can try a "Magic flasher" but an issue with those is that it may not be able to handle the current your new bulbs would require, and it may 'wig wag' the signals. Meaning that when one of the flashing brake lights is on, your high mount light would be off, and vice versa. Which is actually illegal. If I were you, I'd either change to a 3 wire bulb, or just use them for turn or brake function.

I think I figured out how to do it. I wired them to the left and right turn wires on the trailer pigtail. It works for the turn signals. I have to wait for someone to step on the brake pedel so I can test the brake lights too.
