Default Battery/Isolater Dilema

Hey fellas! Its been awhile.

Anyways...

So I have this plan to install dual optimas in my truck...

My plan has been to put 1 in the back, and one in stock position.

Problem is where the heck do i install this isolator. Basically I am just up for suggestions as to where to stick this thing.

My other option is moving both bats to the back but then i havta have two runs of wire to the back.

Any ideas? I am all ears (eyes i guess).

Isolator goes between the two batts... to isolate one from the other.

Would be best to mount it out of sight in the engine bay, near the starting batt.

touche!

lol, sorry for not being more detailed. I know wiring-wise where it goes, but what I am having problems with is... WHERE TO PHYSICALY MOUNT IT! I have the 4.3l so there is not alot of room to begin with. Id like to keep it up front close to the alt, however if i cant find room itll havta go somewhere else. Any ideas?

Here is what ive got:

Its about 4"x4-1/2"x3-1/2"

you can make a tray to fit it on top of the battery or mount it under the battery tray. in my truck there is a bunch of space under the actual tray but the only problem then is that its not easily accessible

^That's a good idea.

I haven't seen the engine bay of a 2nd gen too much, but I know they are ALOT more crowded then the 1st gen. What about mounting on the upper firewall? Alot of people mount ignition systems and things like that there. But if there aint room there aint room.
