Default Difference in AC Delco plug wire sets

I have a 2000 Blazer 4x4 with the 4.3. Want to get plug wires, what is the difference between the 746KK at $76.89 at rock auto and the 9746KK for 39.79, but the 9746KK at advance is 81.99, these are AC Delco part #'s.

Thanks GreenBlazer2002, that is very interesting. Thanks for posting that. I'm just trying to figure these plug wire thing out, going to get AC Delco stuff probably from Rock Auto, they seem to have the best price, not big on Autozone or Advance. was just trying to find diff in wire sets. The 9746KK on 2 sites is $81.00 and says fit for my truck but Rock Auto say modifications may be needed and there only $40.00, go figure. Probably just get the 746KK that is supposed to be the original set GM used for $77,00 from Rock Auto.

Just called local Chevy dealer and the 746KK wire set thru them and another in Ft. Wayne are about $180.00 for the set, unbelievable. Not sure but I think it was on this forum that someone had used NAPA wire set that was from Belden with lifetime warranty, those are less than $60.00 at local NAPA. May look into them.

I actually bought a set of the Professional AC Delco wires off eBay for less than $50. And they were the real thing, not knock offs. Been running them about a year now without issue despte having had to remove them multiple times for various other repairs along the way. Just fyi.

Thanks GreenBlazer2002 again for the info on the professional set, very good to know. I think I will try those from Rock Auto. The lengths were a match I'm assuming for you.

Just replace them one at a time to match the lengths correctly and it works out perfect. 👌👍

Thanks MountainDew and GreenBlazer, that decides it, the professional set from Rock Auto for $40.00 is the way to go.
