Electric fan temp switch in a 4.3 head
If you said amazon I would be sold. I might do that, my impatience might get to me, though, I like buying online, but I still like walking in the door and walking out w/what I want.
Do you think you could still help me identify my fan.

got the switch installed yesterday. won't know until next week how it is as far as running temperature and all but I suspect it should be good
if you're like me and cannot seem to find a square head the right size to remove the plug in the head, you can take a dremel or grinder to a cheap sacrificial 3/8 extension an take a little off the sides, made it fit perfect

you also will have to make a relocation bracket for the oil dip stick tube bracket. just something to bring the mount up an inch or so. the tube is in the way of getting the plug out so you'll have to remove the bolt to begin with, but it's really in the way of getting the new sensor in there which is much larger than the plug... bending it up gives you just enough room, but it's still tight. I just use a piece of flat stock aluminum from Lowes, drilled two holes in it, used a random captured nut and a bolt that I had laying around, and went from there
