HeadLight Issues

HeadLight Issues
I have a 2000 zr2 blazer that has headlight issues. It seems the daytime running lights don't come on like they should at all. This is my forth blazer so I know something isn't right so I have to manually turn them on when it's cloudy/dark out. Also, when my lowbeams are on, only the drivers side works, not the passenger side and the high beams are also on both sides but they are really dim. When I change it to highbeams, the same issue happens, the drivers side works but the passenger side doesn't and the low beams are on still but really dim. We already checked for a ground issue and it seems there isn't any under both sides. I'm not sure what to think anymore...HELP!!!!

High and low beam lamps use ground side switching through the multifunction switch, relays, and the BCM. Throw in DRL's, AHL's and flash to pass and the circuitry becomes quite complex, plus, ZR2 circuits are different than the regular S&T body. First step is make sure all 4 bulbs are good, not just by looking at them, but by testing them with an ohm meter. If you have a DVOM, (digital volt ohm meter) and are familiar with its use and operation, we can walk you through the diagnosis.
