Default Headlights low beam problem

My headlight low beam stopped working some time ago. when i use the stalk to switch on the High beam they come on. I've tested the the high beams with a volt meter ant they show 13.4v. My low beams show nothing when switched on but show 30v !!! when the high beam is switched on. The lamps are all fine. I cant find a fuse or a relay. Please advise.

Got a similar problem with my 97, only the driver side low beam isn't working. Did you discover your problem. Was your problem on both sides?

Mine ended up being the bulb after all. You check the relays? They are in the glove box on my model.

Yeah, been in the glovebox too. I have to figure its in the stalk on the column as my wipers, washer and cruise are out as well. Is there a how-to here on diassembly of those?

Your truck really isn't a K5 blazer in the purest sense (SFA == K5 vs IFS =/= K5) and there are a lot of differences between your truck and the K5's (1st gen 69-72 & 2nd gen 73-91 vs 92+) in this regard. As such, there isn't a lot of information here about your truck. We can try to help, for sure, but please try to post up in the appropriate manner (i.e. not piggy backing off of a thread that is on a very different vehicle).
