ddm is off on their color, 5000k is more blue than it would be from a good company. 5000k from ddm is more like 6000k.
The color of the light does not matter, no matter how you put it, 4300k will have the most useable light to help you see.

 

What brands do you consider "good"? i have only ever used ddm

I got mine from xenondepot, color is spot on, extremely good kit.

I have always used ddm as well, but my last order the hi/lo was messed up so IDK why I ordered from them again(a habit by now after like 6 orders) but I did and my last order is shipping from CHINA. I was kinda pissed. It will be last order from them.

 

shipping time is a huge concern, but with so many "cheap" Kits available, its still hard to switch from a known good supplier. i think my last order was for a replacement ballast after an electrical problem killed one of mine. 6 weeks later i was going again.

 

Now what about switching to the 98+ headlights?

 

I believe that involves getting a new core support to switch over to the other light style.

DDM has hit or miss products and their customer support is very poor. I go with TRS now.
5000k is pure white and 4300k is sunlight, which is what our eyes are most adapted to.
