HID Retrofit

Go with the FX-Rs if you are brave. If not, I'd suggest the mini H1 over the mini D2S 2.0 any day. Now, the mini D2S 3.0 is a different animal all together. Here's a comparison shot I took of my mini H1s next to my FX-Rs (mind you I got the FX-Rs with the 3" lens (because I could fit it) instead of the 2.5")
Also, this is what you get on a foggy day.

There is a fair bit of hype about the MD2S 3.0 for sure. Being released on Jan 1st by the sounds of it. I might have to try them out.

Got my eBay lights. I installed them just for kicks(and only 10 mins) and they aren't nearly as bad as I thought, certainly better than the stock composites. I am saving my pennies for some real projectors to retrofit in. They use 9005 bulbs for hi and low beam, which surprised me. Looking at it from an oncoming cars perspective, the corner lights are nearly as bright, so there is far less glare for oncoming cars than the factory headlights. I recommend them as-is, but of course I can't leave them alone... My only 2 complaints...the bulbs that come with it are not as white as the silverstars I had, and the lack of glare makes it hard to see street signs...road is bright though.

Ya I could do that. Send me a pm in advance before you might be back down Nanaimo (Cedar). I got my fx-r's in use, fx35s and mini h1's if you want to see. I might pick up a pair of these 3.0's for the g/f's blazer.
