Default Interior Lights Not Working

Hi there, I own a 2003 Chevy S10 Blazer 4dr 4x4. One of the first modifications I started to make to it was changing the incandescent light bulbs to much brighter LED light bulbs. About two bulbs in I went to turn them on and they worked at first but after turning them back off and on none of them work. I tried replacing my fuse but they still did not work. Can anyone tell me a solution for this problem? Thank you!

first thing i'd try is, putting the normal bulbs back in to see if they work. If that fails, I would check the fuse, not just visually but with a test light or a multimeter doing a continuity test on it. If the fus checks good, with the engine running, go back to the fuse and check each leg for power.. if you have power on both sides of the fuse, next step is the light sockets themself. check them for power. it is possible a ground issue may be a cause as well. Good luck on the hunt, let us know if ya find the issue.

I do not have a test light but I do have a multimeter. When I put the new fuse in the lights were still not working, I'll give the other things you mentioned a try. My compass and temperature HUD still works.

There is a button by the light switch that is pushed to turn off the interior light function. Make sure this isn't pushed. I found this out on my own Blazer shortly after I bought it.

I have a similar issue to him actually except that it's only my floor and glove box lights. Hitting the dome light on and off doesn't fix it either. I noticed it when I replaced the bulbs with LEDs too.

Smile Problem Fixed!!!

Hello everyone after taking another look at my fuse box I replaced my #8 fuse. After I replaced it my lights, as well as my 4 wheel drive system, started to work again. Thank you to everyone who has come on here and helped me diagnose this problem!!
