need help designing a circuit
Thanks PettyFog. I don't know much about electronics, but I like the no switch diode design. Man I just don't have the smarts for that kind of stuff. Anyway is there a way to tap the radio acc/run lead without removing the head unit? I installed an AVIC 310 BT last year. I know it's not hard to get behind the radio but I'd rather not if I don't have to.
I dont know about your 2004 but on my 99 switched radio pwr is dark green goes directly from IP fuse 24, 10 amp to radio.*
Drk green also goes up the driver side pillar to the driver info harness.
Just put a tap on the wire and check that it works in run/accy and doesnt work with radio fuse out
*according to alldata diag

A Because picasa isnt an image sharing site. Or if they changed, your setting are wrong.
- just checked in my albums.. nope, you can only do 'click-link to' or email.
For postable pics use imgur or photobucket NOT imageshack.. near malware on there I'm pretty sure.
B @!$@#@# I havent been on picasa for years, and never on this machine and it still auto logged me in!!!!
- Wrong. It just used my last google ident.[/quote]
{Join} refers to common point of the 4002 cathodes and wire to the + lead of the LED array.
court sw + -|>|- {join}
Radio Accy/run + -|>|- {join}
then {join} led array gnd
PS: My suggestion might not work. Just found from looking at lights circuit for another reason that courtesy circuit switches gnd, not positive
