New HID's
OK...so this is what i found on the quad beam. and yes it works with dual HIDS.
You only need to do this on ONE bulb (At least all i had to do anyways), i chose my driver side.
-SPLICE into the yellow wire coming from the low beam bulb(9006). NOT the yellow/black wire.
-Run that wire to ground.
-DONE, you now have quad beams
What i did is i ran a wire that i spliced in to a switch that i mounted on the dash so that i can turn the quad beams on and off, i used a simple in and out switch, then ran the wire coming off the switch to a ground under the dash. (I tried using a switch that had illumination (so 3 wires, one in, one ground, one for illum) but it DID NOT WORK, i have no idea why). If you dont want a switch you can just ground it to anywhere. I am to understand this only works on 2nd gen.
I got the info from this thread when i did mine

just spliced into the one yellow wire, about 2 inches away from the low beam bulb and only on the one side....................weird..maybe has something to do with the different wiring for the zr2 as kyle said earlier....but then again yours is a zr2 as well, are your low beams drls?
