No Brake Lights After Trailer Haul
#13
Ok. I installed the new hazard switch but still no dice. Out of curiosity I decided to replace the STOP/Hazard fuse, even though it looks perfect, and that solved the issue. Once I saw I had working lights, I hooked up the trailer and sure enough it
"blew" the fuse. So I cut off the end of my trailer connector as I don't need it anyway. It's legal to run a small trailer here without lights if your vehicles lights can clearly be seen.
The "blown" fuses look fine. I've never seen this happen before. Craziness.

yea its possible. Comes to think of it... Its not your connection on the truck i bet... You have an issue with the trailer itself. What bothers me is When you wiggled the 4way switch it started to work... And that was an sign that the switch or the multifunction switch was bad.
