Default Power Problems?

ANy suggestions would greatly help...

I have a 1990 K5 Blazer. It has the throttle body and for the first winter is being a pain in the butt to start.

I just went to start it and aftre giving it gas it died...I started it gain, gave it gas, let it idle and it died again. On the third attempt, it died and I lost all power to the truck. No lights, no crank.

I removed the battery, had it tested and replaced it when it showed 100% charge.

I looked in the fuse box on the fire wall. The ECM B fuse is fine. There was, however, a silver fuse which simply said PWR. I removed the fuse, however, could not tell if it was blown. I put in a 30 amp fuse and got dome lights. I turned the key to start it and it half cranked then the power went again...no lights, nothing.

The 30 amp fuse was not blown...so what did I blow and what does that fuse go to?

I got a 92 throttle body 4.3 litre. If I'm not mistaken, the silver 30 amp fuse you pulled might have been a circuit breaker for the power windows or the power door locks/transfer case. Not sure if dome lights are tied into either. On my fuse box, all it says is PWR under the window slot for it, but to the right, it says WINDOW under a empty slot. So there not exactly labeled perfectly. I'm not a mechanic by any means, but have been fixing my blazer for 15 years now. It sounds like either the alternator, or possibly the circuit breaker mentioned above. I would test the alternator, replace circuit breaker and see what happens. The circuit breaker will run you around $15. One way to test it, would be to pull the power window breaker and put in powerlocks/transfer case slot. Hope it helps.
