I did it last year. Was a piece of cake. Just take your time. Had power there. Was dirty contacts in the button...

When I cleaned mine up I applied a dab of grease to the contact to prevent it from oxidizing again. So far, so good.

Dielectric grease would be the best option for this. Pretty much exactly what it's designed for
