ok so i just got a 2004 4 door blazer and its not equipped with the stock fog lights next to the turn signals but i noticed on the headlight switch there is a electrical connecter that plugs into nothing. so my question is, is there wires already run up to the front is is that something i would have to do thank for any input.

All of them have that plug on the the back of the headlight switch panel that plug into the blank if not equiped with fog lights. You cannot simply change the blinker assemblies due to the fog light controls running through the trucks computer to turn them on and off. You would have to have the computer reprogramed at the dealership to enable that function. and for around 100 a pop for that, it is cheaper to do your own setup.

I was wondering the same thing as 04SSBlazer since I'm considering purchasing a ZR2 ('99 through '03) and had figured if the truck I bought didn't have the stock fog lights like my "00 Blazer does I could just acquire a stock switch and lamp assemblies and plug everything in. Or if reprogramming is necessary perhaps there is a less expensive route than the dealership.

you definitely have to get the computer reprogrammed if you want a stock switch, but what i did was unplug my day time running light relay(because i hate day time running lights) and what i did was find a hot in the fuse box that turned off with the key and ran my fog lights to that now you could just run a switch to it but i like the clean look without all extra not dealership switchs so my fog lights stay on all the time

If you do decide to get the pcm reprogrammed you should ask a tuner like blackbear ( that's who did my pcm tune) if they can do it.
Then you would have the best of both worlds. Better performance and your fog lights.
