Default stock fog lamps

Are the stock fog lamps in the bumper cover really weak or do I need to change them? I have never seen any benefits from turning them on when its foggy no matter how little or how much fog there is. They look like standard bigger yellow blinker bulb, which im guessing is what they are since they are also secondary blinkers.

Weak! The ones on my old 2k Bravada were mainly useless.
