Tail lights always on and they're melting my housings

Tail lights always on and they're melting my housings
Just like the title says. I got some aftermarket housings and the heat generated, from the lights being on all the time, is starting to melt them. How can i get my tail lights to work like normal again? Keep in mind, my brake lights work like normal, it is just the tail lights that are always on. Thanks for the help!
